Description

Evening Star is a well maintained 2007 example of this model with high specification she is a very sea worthy vessel. Powered by the latest Volvo D4 225 hp electronic engine on a shaft drive with a four bladed propeller producing a top speed of 25 knots and cruising at 16 knots. With only 600 hours use. The steel blue and white hull is in excellent condition having been polished and waxed every season.

The Antares is superbly fitted throughout. There is ample storage under the aft deck lockers. This leads onto a wide swim board through the transom access door where there is a swim ladder fitted. Also fitted to the transom are quick release davits for the use of a tender. Situated on the after deck the fly ladder leads to a cushioned sun deck, there is a stainless guard rail which runs along the port and starboard sides. A remote control windlass is fitted at the bow and there is 20m of anchor chain and an equal amount of anchor rope. There is a complete matching blue Bimini Cover.

A sliding door gives access to a carpeted saloon with a dining table and cushioned seating to accommodate six people, there is a 12 inch TV with DVD player and a VHF/FM radio with CD player. To the starboard of the saloon there is a galley with a double cupboard with two drawers over which is a sink and two burner gas hob underneath the hob is fitted a refrigerator. Hot and cold water. There is an additional cupboard under helm seat.

The helm has a Raymmarine Axiom 12inch Multifunction plotter fitted which operates with the latest Raymarine Quantum Radar Dome and GPS which provides excellent navigation and also first class depth and Fishfinder images this equipment has recently been fitted. There is also an ST 60 Raymarine depth and speed indicator. A compass is fitted just above the wheel and above the helm is a VHF radio and also a brass ships clock and barometer.

To the starboard side of the companion way there is a toilet area with shower and a double storage cabinet. Ahead there is a double berth including under bed storage and a clothes cabinet. The saloon table area converts into a second double bed.

Recently antifouled polished and waxed and all anodes have been renewed ready to go. With very few engine hours and in excellent condition Evening Star will give many years of safe and enjoyable boating.

Evening Star is berthed at the lower basin at Neyland Marina and there is access at all states of the tide.
The current berth is at Neyland Yacht Haven Marine and is available to the buyer.

Accommodation

Two Double Berths. One situated forward with storage cabinet and hatch and a port and starboard window providing ample daylight with one double convertible berth in the saloon. The toilet and shower is situated on the port side of the companion way. Holding tank situated in storage cabinet on the starboard side of the companion way. Dining table and seating area in the saloon which accommodates six persons. On the starboard side of the saloon there is a cabinet with two storage drawers over which there is a sink and a two burner gas hob. The cabinet has a fold down lid which acts as a work space. Opposite the helm on the Port side there is a fold down co pilot seat. There is a TV with DVD player fitted to the rear of the saloon and a VHF / FM radio fitted at the helm for entertainment. There is a sun bathing area above the saloon accessed from a fly ladder on the after deck and there are sun bathing cushions provided for this purpose. There is a shower head in the locker situated close to the fly ladder on the port side. There is also a seat with a cushion provided on the aft deck.
