The H-Boat is a one-design keelboat designed by Finn Hans Groop in 1967, with some minor modifications by Paul Elvstrøm in 1971. The boat gained international status in 1977. Since 1967 over 5000 hulls have been made, making it one of the most popular yacht classes in the world.

"Humdinger" is a particularly good example, purchased from Germany by the present owner in 2015 and professionally surveyed at the time. Sails are recent and she has some impressive race results!

MECHANICAL
Mariner 3.5hp 4 stroke outboard motor (new in 2017) with around 3 hours use. Sliding outboard lowering mechanism on rollers.

REMARKS

"Humdinger" was purchased by her present owner in October 2015. She has mainly been used for club racing on the river Blackwater plus occasional day sailing. In 2019 her IRC rating was 0.834. She is a multiple trophy winner, 2019 results at the West Mersea Yacht Club have included;
